With one of the top professional redfish anglers in the world, you will be taught everything from reading satellite maps and tide schedules to basic knot tying techniques. This one-on-one instruction and individual attention begins the moment you arrive at your destination.

The Itinerary:
Day 1: Welcome to the Bayou
Arrive to the redfishing capital of the world, where a welcome orientation and dinner await you. Your hosts will be on hand to answer questions, help you get settled, and prepare you for the next morning’s departure. Enjoy your first night at the lodge while you gaze at miles of marsh and sip your favorite cold beverage.
Days 2 &3: Hook, Line, and Sinker
Awaken to the smell of a home-cooked Cajun breakfast and fresh coffee brewing. After breakfast, head to the boat launch for an early departure! At first safe light, you will be on your way to a day of fishing like no other! Learn techniques that will have you catching them like the pros, or sit back and relax and enjoy catching and releasing as many redfish as if you were already a pro! Your captain will ensure your 8 hours of fishing is planned precisely around not only your skill level, but also your personal preference.
Don’t worry! Lunch is served on the boat, so you won’t miss any valuable fishing time heading back to the launch! In the afternoon, celebrate your successes and soothe your sore muscles back at the lodge while dinner is being prepared for you. After a comforting meal, relax on the expansive porches, gaze up at the starry sky, and reflect on the days’ catches.
Day 4: Leavin’ Cajun Country
Awaken again to the smell of a hot breakfast being prepared for you before you travel home. We’ll say our reluctant goodbyes - you won’t want to leave! We’ll all look forward to the next time we meet again for a “trip of a lifetime”.

Both locations are within easy driving distance from downtown New Orleans. All lodges are brand new facilities (after Hurricane Katrina) and are considered the area’s premier accommodations.
